New features in collaboration with CNRS

   January 29, 2015 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine headed by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Maxim Strikha the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Director of International Cooperation CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research of France) Francesca Hrassiya and representatives of the Embassy of France in Ukraine .
   The sides reviewed the current state of cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Foundation for Basic Research and Ukrainian research institutions CNRS, discussed existing arrangements between institutions and discussed options for enhanced cooperation in the future.
   In particular, in the event confirmed the decision and held discussions on the creation of international virtual laboratory for the development of detector systems for experiments in high energy physics accelerators of charged particles (LIA IDEATE - International Associated Laboratory «Instrumentation Developments for Experiments at Accelerator facilities and accelerating Techniques») .
   The Ukrainian side in the laboratory will participate Kyiv National University. Shevchenko, University of Kharkiv and several institutes of NAS of Ukraine. French - have expressed a desire to attend about ten national laboratories and universities. Creating such a virtual laboratory is an important step in the development of French-Ukrainian scientific and educational cooperation. Both sides noted the expediency of such a project in the context of the internationalization of science policy and obstruction of Ukraine "brain drain".
   The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector KNU Vyzhva SA, Vice-Rector for International Relations of Kiev Bech P., Vice President of NAS of Ukraine AG Zagorodny, director of the State Fund for Fundamental Research Green BV, attache of the university on scientific cooperation of the French Embassy in Ukraine Gilles Mametts, scholarship programs coordinator Oksana Lando, co LIA IDEATE Badger Sergei and Oleg Bezshyyko and other representatives of MES and NAS of Ukraine.
