In Kiev, discussed the current state and prospects of development of information security support

   March 31, 2015 in National University of Defense of Ukraine held a scientific conference "Information Security in the military sphere. Current state and prospects ".
   The event was held in conjunction with the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine. The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Information Policy, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service, the Interior Ministry, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection, State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Ukraine, Donetsk Regional State Administration, Central Research Institute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, scientific and teaching staff, associate and doctoral students of the National University of Defense of Ukraine and other military higher educational institutions, non-governmental and civil society organizations on the profile information security.
    The conference was chaired by the Chief of the National Defence University of Ukraine State Prize in Science and Technology, Honored Worker of Science of Ukraine, Doctor of Military Sciences, Professor, Lieutenant-General Vasily Telelyma, who spoke about the relevance and necessity of priority solving the problem of information security Ukraine under constant influence of external information.
    Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Tatiana Popova stressed the need for coordination of all subjects of information security, strengthening the control and protection of the national information space, increasing the presence of objective information about Ukraine in the global information space.
    Head of Information Policy and Public Affairs Donetsk Regional State Administration Elena Malyutyna revealed major problems implementing the state information policy in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions in terms of the antiterrorist operation.
    Conference participants highlighted their views and provided suggestions for the solution of problems to implement national information policy and information security in today's military-political and military-strategic situation around Ukraine.
