The scientific seminar on "From neuron to consciousness"

February 13, 2015 the State Fund of Fundamental Research conducted regular research seminar "From neuron to consciousness", the speaker - Kryshtal Oleg from Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Institute of Physiology. OOBogomolets).
Upcoming seminar attracted the attention of more than 170 applicants who registered to participate in the workshop.
In a lecture presentation dealt with the current studies of the brain - the organ whose function is now as clear as uncertain. When disclosing the nature of the "Devil's Kitchen", the author used a comparison with a mirror of consciousness, revealed the structure and mechanisms of brain cells.
During the seminar, the speaker suggested to reflect on the major issues:
- Does each of us conscious?
- What is consciousness?
- What is known modern science of consciousness?
- As our brain is formed?
